It doesn’t matter what you want. The only thing that matters is how much you want it and how hard you’re willing to work to get it.
Good morning party people and happy Monday! I’m so excited to share this one with you guys today.. because its a personal favorite of mine.
We all have different dreams, goals, and aspirations. Some of us want to be billionaires, some of us just want to be able to spend time with our loved ones. Maybe you want to go to the moon! Whatever it is, as long as it isn’t bringing harm to someone else, please know that you are 1,000% entitled to having it.
Let me repeat that. You are entitled to having what you want. We aren’t living on this earth to be just plain ordinary! We get one shot here, so you might as well shoot for the stars, right?
Now the question is.. How bad do you want it?
If you want it bad enough, you’re probably willing to work for it. If you’re willing to work for it, you can have it. Simple as that! Its not easy, but its your right to get what you want if you’re willing to put in the time!
So, what is your “it”?
As you’ve read this I’m sure you’ve had something in mind. Maybe its something that you know you want, or maybe its something that you won’t admit out loud. I think its worth taking a moment to reflect on why that is.
A lot of people suffer from something called “impostor syndrome”. The official definition is: “a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a “fraud”.
This basically means that you either want something or have something that you dont think you deserve for whatever reason. You may secretly want to be an actor, but have some psychological block that makes you think that you “aren’t the actor type”. Or, maybe you’ve already landed a few acting gigs, but still feel like you aren’t an actor. This is a belief that can actually limit your success, because you are scared to put effort forward in fear of being “found out”.
If this sounds like thoughts you’ve had, please know that this is actually way more common than you may think! And, more importantly, know that those thoughts are not the truth!
I plan on doing a more in depth post about this later, but for now, take a good long look at yourself!
“It doesn’t matter what you want. The only thing that matters is how much you want it and how hard you’re willing to work to get it.”
So get after it! Work hard! Dont be afraid to dream your dream, because you deserve to live it!
Whats your dream?
